In June 2023 the Planning and Zoning Committee and the Board of Trustees adopted a revised zoning and land use code. Please contact the Planning and Zoning committee for a building permit, sign permit, or zoning change application. You may also click here to fill and save/print the application from this website.

​Application Process

 

Step 1     Complete the application

 

Step 2     Submit application with applicable fee to the Planning and Zoning (PZ) committee representative (listed above) no less than ten business days prior to the next regular meeting. The applicant or their representative must be present (in person or online) at the meeting when the application is reviewed by the PZ committee. 

 

Step 3     PZ will forward application to SMCOG (if applicable)

Step 4     PZ will forward application to Board of Trustees for final decision

 

Step 5     In the case of an appeal, applicant presents application with applicable fees to Board of Adjustment

The Planning and Zoning Committee meets monthly on the third Saturday of the month. Click here for meeting schedule and application submittal deadlines. Meetings are also on the Village calendar.
